We are here to serve God and you.
Roy Webster was saved at the age of eight, after seeing a Christian film. When he was 11 years old, his parents, Dick and Karen Webster, followed God’s call to serve as missionaries in Argentina. They later returned to the U.S. for health reasons, but God used that experience in Roy's life, calling him, as an adult, to return to Argentina as a missionary. He surrendered to that call and studied Missions at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. Roy and his wife, Jennifer married in 1993. They joined the pastoral staff of GBBC in 1995, and served four years as Youth Pastor/Missions Interns. In 1999 the Websters were sent out by Baptist Bible Fellowship International, as Missionaries to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Thirteen years later, in 2011, God called them to return to the U.S., and accept the pastorate at GBBC upon the retirement of Dr. Eddy Johnson, the Church's pastor of twenty years. Bro. Roy's first official Sunday as pastor, at GBBC, was January 6, 2013. He and Jennifer still share a burden for world-wide missions, but they also desire to reach their local community with the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Websters have two children, Kirsten and Lucas.
